Holiday Lights Festival

Situated beneath snow-capped mountains, in a stunning 500-acre forest of ponderosa pine trees, Flagstaff's Little America Hotel sparkles with holiday magic in winter. Join locals and guests for the Holiday Lights Festival that begins with an official lighting ceremony in November. Watch more than two million colored lights illuminate the forest and listen for Santa as you sip complimentary hot cider. The ceremony ends with caroling and cookies. Flagstaff's extravaganza of lights continues through mid-January.

Every year, our dedicated volunteers with the Pinewood Fire Department Auxiliary in partnership with our outstanding Fire Department, organize a visit from Santa for our Munds Park families! Make sure your children don’t miss out and register for Mr. and Mrs. Clause to drive by your home and stop to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas! Pick up a registration form at the Post Office or in the November issue of the Pinewood News.

Festival of the Lights - Lighting of 6,000 Luminarias

December 11, 2021. The Cherished tradition of the festival of Lights began 45 years ago and is a highly anticipated holiday event in Sedona. A full schedule of lively musical entertainment, a visit from Santa, and free cider awaits, making it the perfect outing for families and friends. The River of Life Tabernacle Choir will be performing. At the tolling of the bell tower at 5:00pm, the lighting of 6,000 luminarias gets underway in Tlaquepaque’s courtyards and walkways.
